Thurstons is located within easy reach of the Suffolk Heritage Coast. It takes just over 20 minutes to get to Aldeburgh and a little longer to visit the RSPB reserve at Minsmere.

The pretty town of Framlingham with its medieval castle is 10 minutes drive away.

The international concert hall at Snape takes just over 15 minutes to reach by car.

Rendham is between the market towns of Saxmundham and Framlingham. Each has a good selection of shops, as do nearby Peasenhall and Yoxford.

There is a good range of pubs and restaurants providing excellent food within a short drive of Thurstons.

The rail station at Saxmundham is 3.5 miles distant. Trains run directly to London every 2 hours.
